description: "Give or take away badges, and add or take away points, by hand from a member's profile."

Admins and community moderators open a member's profile and select **Give a badge** to give or take away any badge. Community managers (administrators) can also add or take away points with a note, for example for a great answer or to clean up spam. Nobody can give badges or points to themselves.
